- My name is Håkan Johanson, and I work with sound, music, radio, writing, and visual art. John Haga is my artist alias. I also release music under the name Haakan Johanson. I live in Sundsvall and was born and raised here. For about 30 years I lived elsewhere—25 of those in Stockholm, where I still spend a lot of time. I’ve worked as a radio producer and reporter, and I’ve also worked as an actor, including with the independent theater group DaCapo in Uppsala. I write my own music and play guitar, piano, and harmonica, and I sing. I also love performing old cover songs that have really captured my heart. When I’m not making music, I’m working on a crime novel, and I also enjoy drawing and painting. In addition, I’m an instructor in Qi Gong and meditation and lead a group every Saturday.
